Tasked with providing general administrative and secretarial support to the Management team, Mental Health Practitioners and Service Users within a NHS service, which provides mild to moderate talking therapies for patients throughout Nottinghamshire Duties: • Communication with service users via telephone and letters on a daily basis • Acting as a liaison between GP’s, clinicians, team leaders, management, service users and other health care professionals. • Part of my responsibility is prioritising the work load within the admin team, ensuring KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) are met on a daily/monthly basis. • Following the administrative and office procedures set out by the service. • Giving due regard to issues of confidentiality and data protection. • Typing, formatting, and amending documents and letters with knowledge of audio typing. • I have used various Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook and have also learnt various other packages adapted for the organisation and role within. • Proof reading of documents for any grammatical errors including appointment letters, initial appointment outcomes and discharge letters on behalf of clinical staff. • Bulk printing, arranging photocopying, scanning and faxing as required. • Providing cover for a 12 hour working day over various bases and also weekend working hours when required to. • Whilst being employed by the NHS, I was given the opportunity to champion the Nottingham CCG Long Term Conditions Pilot, liaising with professionals from various departments within the NHS. I am the sole administrator for the pilot, taking full responsibility in producing and inputting the data required and producing the necessary reports.
