This system holds all the information from the moment the job comes in right up until the job is completed. I was consulted throughout the design of this system and have moulded the system to our unique company needs. I am still responsible for the day to day programming of the works.

  As a Project Coordinator I am responsible for all of the day to day programming of works. I am in charge of adding these jobs onto our tracker, arranging surveys, processing results and adding them into the schedule for the relevant date. As part of this role I have to ensure the relevant cross hired machinery, Traffic Management and the company machinery is available for the correct works. I also had to quote and invoice all jobs raised.

  I started Greenwood Communications doing an apprenticeship in business administration. I started by learning basic administrative skills by assigning people to certain jobs on their bespoke software, downloading the schedule of works and raising work orders for engineers. I then started doing the paper work for purchase orders for works that were completed. Due to the financial difficulties of the company and people leaving, I took on extra responsibilities and helped with the finance side of the business. I helped invoice any outstanding invoices we had left, this involved learning a new system where all our invoices were processed through.
