I've elsewhere referred to Lauren as "Big Win #1" for my former marketing/advertising/PR agency, image squared marketing. I hired Lauren to visit client locations and capture photos to be used in various marketing/advertising/PR applications. As a Photographer, Lauren excelled at capturing these images. As a communications professional, she freed me up to fine-tune our system. Lauren scheduled her own appointments with clients and developed relationships along the way. In addition, our family has been photographed by LHV Photography several times, and these are some of the best family photos we've ever had – capturing us in our natural state by cultivating an open, relaxed environment rather than requesting the same old, tired poses. Lauren is a good person to know! 😀

I had the pleasure to work with Lauren the past two years at the University of Illinois. While working with Lauren, she quickly demonstrated her ability to not only be a resource for myself and other colleagues but was an asset to the department by always offering a helping hand when needed. The thing that impresses me the most about Lauren is her genuine concern for her students and her ability to connect and motivate her students to succeed in her courses. Lauren has a great positive attitude and passion for teaching, which makes her a valuable candidate to any institution she belongs to.

www.theturquoiseproject.com https://www.facebook.com/TheTurquoiseProject/ The Turquoise Project is an inspired portrait series that focuses on women and partners who have struggled with TTC (trying to conceive). The intention of this portrait series is to help break the stigma and silence of TTC and miscarriages, which are so often experienced by women and partners, but so rarely discussed openly. I hope that this project will allow women and partners to put a voice to their experience and help thousands of other women and partners feel validated in their feelings, and ultimately, less alone in their struggle. Why "The Turquoise Project," you ask? Turquoise has long been associated with expression and healing. The intention of this portrait series is to do just that, help others heal through expression and by putting a voice to their stories. Show less
