It is my belief that the self and any psychological damage can be repaired within relationship, if the correct conditions and meaningful contact are provided. I support my clients through the provision of a secure base, upon which we can explore the way they relate to themselves, others and the world around them. Through this exploration, a greater self-awareness can be gained and with it the desired self-development. I uphold the notion that we all have the capacity for autonomy, regardless of any external factors we face and believe that through the identification and processing of these factors, we can expand the options available to us and choose to move towards a place of growth, change and/or healing. I work with adults, young people and couples, providing a safe, comfortable and professional space to explore any issues or concerns they may be experiencing. I offer a non-judgemental, flexible service, adapting to the relational needs of my clients. I am committed to my to work as a safe and ethical therapist and am underpinned by the BACP’s Ethical Framework for Good Practice. As a Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist I approach my clinical work from a relational stance, maintaining the assertion that we are all individuals and thus what works for one, may not work for another. For this purpose I practice holistically, attending to the requirements of my clients emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual processes.
