  I currently intern for the Public Works Department of the City of San Luis Obispo. As an intern, I get to assist and work on drainage, sewer, and waterline projects. My work includes preparing and advancing plans and specifications from 50 to 100 percent completion. I format and complete documents including cost estimates, scoping memo's, RFP's, NOE's, and cost change orders. I have also gained field experience through surveying, taking measurements, and observing and assisting in inspections.
