At EPIC IT I wore many hats to help grow this company. I self-taught myself QuickBooks to do payroll, invoicing, inventory, etc. I created and implemented policies and procedures. I had fun completing nomination packets that earned the company many awards (of which I can't remember the EXACT names of): Pacesetters, Fastest Growing Woman Owned Business, SBA Entrepreneur Under 30, NAWBO Rising Star Award, etc. This was definitely a fun and challenging time! 5th Grade Teacher

5th grade was my favorite year in school. In this position I had the privilidge of teaching 5th grade for 6 years. My first year of teaching was at Mableton Elementary School. I was lucky enough to be chosen to work at a new school for the next 5 years, Cheatham Hill Elementary. Opening a new school is a lot of fun! The new staff gets to choose the mission statement, school colors, school mascot, etc. At Cheatham Hill I started school-wide Earth Day activities and celebrations as well as the Student Council.
