I provide vital support to the Gym Manager through: cancelling and editing classes on Legend, supporting our fitness instructors, assisting in the development of the gym business strategy, processing refunds, assisting with the gym relaunch, recruitment, training other members of the fitness team and creating and interpreting any reports from the membership base deemed necessary. Through my time here I have led on the development of a partnership with Nottingham Rugby Club. This has resulted in their first team players using our WattBike studio to support their training. Membership Support Team Member
-
Jun 2020 - May 2021
During the uncertain times we have faced this year as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, I have been working from home as an integral part of the Membership Support Team. My responsibilities have been to respond to a high volume of membership suspension and termination requests and any general centre enquires. I have taken up a lead role within this team supporting the Team Manager in developing standardised email responses for the entire team and supporting other team members when required. During these challenging times we received over a one thousand refund requests which I led on investigating and processing. I have loved my time within the Inbox Team, I feel I have contributed to supporting all members across our business, providing them with an excellent service whilst ensuring I am enforcing all company policies and showing empathy and understanding. Supervisor
-
Jun 2017 - Apr 2019
When promoted to supervisor my duties included: opening and closing the store, managing shifts, cashing up, dealing with problems on the tills and training staff, including how to resolve customer issues. I led in creating and monitoring staff incentives which assisted the staff with hitting their KPI’s. I have also assisted with the weekly managers’ sales report for head office and attended a weekly managers’ meeting in which we discussed our stores performance and ways to improve as a store. As well as the duties I completed as a sales advisor, as a supervisor I had to ensure constant stock security, consistent stock levels on the shop floor and keep the stock system up to date. I loved my time at PANDORA as it allowed me to develop my sales and customer service skills, I also developed my self-confidence, the ability to be reactivate to whatever situation arises and develop my problem-solving skills. I really enjoyed being able to assist our customers in purchasing something to represent a memory or significant event in their life. This enhanced my empathy and understanding of customers circumstances. Show less

Customer Service
-
Nov 2014 - Aug 2016
I began at Sports Direct as a sales assistant on the tills. Very quickly I was given management functions. This allowed me to work on Till 1 (our returns and customer services till), dealing with the returns or exchanges adhering to our policy and dealing with customer complaints and very quickly I was given cashing-up training. This gave me extra responsibility to not only cash up the tills on site, but also to count the safe and the cash machine ensuring the right amount of money is in each. It also allows me to get cash for other members of staff on the tills during the working day. I have also been given responsibility in supervising certain members of staff when there are not enough managers in store. I have participated in training other staff on the tills. Recently i have been trained up on how to scan out any faulty returns back to the warehouse. Show less

Assisting with the smooth running of events, ensuring emails received in the RSVP and Seminars inbox were dealt with as necessary and researching events. I also assisted with the essential work on the run up to an event such as making badges and labels, putting together packs for seminars, compiling post event reports and ensuring all attendees were checked off the attendee list. I was also shown how to fill out event planning documents. On a daily basis I was using the CRM software InterAction, this included updating client information, event information, and post event reports. I also used InterAction to add new clients Show less
