Interning with PARR allows me to gain hands-on insight into the courts and legal system while trying to find ways to keep people out of jail. I assist lawyers in defending and representing individuals to ensure they get the proper representation. Working within PARR, I learn the ins and outs of case preparation, legal research, investigation analysis, and courtroom assistance. This opportunity empowers me as a student and as an employee. In doing so, I researched environmental projects funded by private donors in order to promote outdoor recreation, trails, conservation, stewardships, and conservation of Lake Tahoe.
