Assistant Development Manager

Focused on development and construction of residential low and medium rise projects across QLD delivering housing and accommodation needs to our Australian Defence Force members. Soley responsible for delivering my own flagship Defence project commencing from Concept Stage through to Design, DA, Civil, Construction and Handover. Project was delivered on time, under budget and incorporated sustainability elements above Defence standard. My role also extended to working with Senior Development Managers on a large scale residential project in Townsville and smaller scale projects across SEQ including houses and apartment construction. Experience in; Project Management, Feasibilities, Board Reporting, Tendering, Construction Management, Scheduling & Programming, Design and Consultant team management, Civil Works and Development.

Assistant Development Manager

Exposure to retail development delivering a fast food precinct (5 x tenancies) at Highfields Village Shopping Centre in Toowoomba value approximately $7mil. Role included tenancy coordination, leasing assistance, marketing, development related tasks and working with a Senior Development/Construction Manager overseeing the construction of the food tenancies (new building) and 1200sq.m extension to the existing Woolworths. Project Manager

Part of the Nation Building Economic Stimulus Plan (Housing QLD) team which received $1.2 billion of Federal funding as part of the Federal Government $42 billion stimulus package released in 2009/2010.The Project Services team was responsible for delivering 4000 units of affordable housing accommodation across a two year period.On this project I was working within a driven and ambitious team of property professionals to deliver this program on time and budget. I was equally responsible for accelerating over 750 units of accommodation as part of this package and my roles included; assessment of suitable sites, fast-tracking the projects through design phases and tender process; and moving into a project management role during construction.

Development Assistant

Working closely with the Project Partners and Managing Director I was involved in producing reports to assist in obtaining Board Approval to proceed with site purchases. Research skills were developed to anaylse historical sales information to establish future projections, sales ratesand price points for potential residential subdivisions.Understanding of residential market acquisitions, assessing the competition of competingestates and undertaken site visits with agents, consultants and the Project Partners.
