Works in collaborative partnerships with other Health and Human Services agencies; nonprofit organizations; government entities at the local, county, and state levels; and community stakeholders and members to improve access to services and service delivery, reduce bias in decision making, and promote equity for families and individuals served by Health and Human Services agencies. Provides technical assistance, training, and consultation, within Health and Human Services, to support the development of collaborations across systems and strategies to increase cultural competence, address systemic contributing factors to disparate and disproportionate outcomes, and to reduce and eliminate disproportionality and disparities. Reviews and shares outcome data from multiple systems, identifies where disproportionality and disparities exist, explores the underlying causes, helps develop best practices with collaborative partners. Develops work efforts, data, research, grant project initiatives, and leads work groups in partnerships with state office staff, including: the Director of Equity and Inclusion, the Director of the Office of Minority Health and Health Equity, the Director of the Office of Border Affairs, and the Associate commissioner. Prepares administrative reports and studies relating to regional and statewide work efforts and outcomes on efforts to address disproportionality and disparities in Health and Human Services and other systems, monitors the performance of their effectiveness, and recommends business practice changes to ensure program success.
