She worked in the Returning Office, to process mail-in voting, advanced in-person voting, hospital voting and home visits. Some of her duties included updating databases, scheduling special ballot processes, informing the public of voting processes in-person and over the phone, supervising the work of the Special Ballot Officers and upholding the legitimacy of the provincial election. As a swim instructor, Lauren created and taught swimming lesson plans for beginner and intermediate level swimmers.
