Undergraduate Industry Placement Award (UIPA)

I completed a two week Undergraduate Industry Placement Award (UIPA) through Australian Pork Limited (APL) at Mallee Park Piggery. This involved providing high quality care and husbandry to 300 breeding sows. I was able to effectively assist farrowing sows and also precisely administer injections when necessary. Finally, I became competent in artificial insemination in both sows and gilts.
