      My student teaching position was with the entire fourth-grade team of teachers and students at one of the elementary schools in the Stillwater Area Public School District. I took on various teacher roles from start to finish, which led me to my full-time portion of student teaching where I taught independently for two weeks. I independently led day-to-day routines, instruction, and lesson planning. I implemented various classroom management techniques with the approval of my cooperating teacher and expanded the use of technology in the classroom through my lessons. I created connections with students, staff, and families of students by attending professional development meetings, responsive classroom observations and walk-throughs, parent-teacher conferences, and more! On a daily basis I was responsible for supporting and connecting with up to 75 fourth-grade students during my student teaching, and getting to know each child individually was my favorite part!
