  I service students who are staffed in ESE (Exceptional Student Education) as either "Speech Impaired, "Language Impaired" or both. I see grades Pre-K-5th at West Oaks Elementary School in Orlando. I write Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for those students I service and write their annual goals. I attend annual reviews to discuss with parents and other professionals the student's progress toward their speech and/or language goals. I test students for speech/language using evidence-based products and attend reevaluation meetings to review speech-language reports of the evaluation results. I see students in small groups and plan therapy lessons for each group using speech-language activities geared toward their individual goals. I attend various trainings that the district offers for professional development. Show less
