During my almost 3 years and counting at this restaurant I have successfully processed thousands of dollars worth of debit and credit transactions, happily served hundreds of customers, aided in inventory counting, made many different varieties of coffee and energy drinks, expertly learned how to do latte art, aided in the training of many new baristas and hostess, adequately handled many conflicts with unhappy customers, and continue to leave guests with a positive experience. Idaho DECA State President 2020-2021

From 2020-2021, I served as Idaho DECA’s State President and Vice President of Leadership during the Covid-19 pandemic. I oversaw 18 DECA chapters across the state of Idaho and achieved a 50% higher social media following on all platforms while qualifying 60% of all competitors at 2021 Idaho State Career Development Conference for International Competition. Additionally, I was named Fundraising Committee Chair for Idaho DECA Board of Directors and constructed a community outreach project through Idaho Youth Ranch that encourages all Idaho DECA chapters to donate clothes and raise money for a Idaho based non-profit that supports communities all across the state. I created marketing materials and social media advertising to advocate for the clothing drive and I created a Community Service Award that will be awarded to the chapter that raises the most money or donated the most clothes to incentivize participation. As Student Based Enterprise Manager I acted as a student manager for the Lewiston DECA Store that served snack food and beverages. . My activities included drafting the floor plans for the new store, training all employees, making menus, stocking and ordering all products, managing money accounts, tracking all expense and revenue activities, managing the store's social media platforms and creating promotional material. During my last year as manager the store exceed the profit goal by 100% generating $30,000 in 9 months. Show less
