  During this intentional travel time, I embraced varied international and domestic educational opportunities where I strengthened my relationship-building and communication skills. During this period, I completed an 800-mile bicycle tour in Vietnam, volunteered at a historic nature preserve in Boone, North Carolina and worked at an organic farm in eastern Tennessee. These activities have proven my ability to learn in unique environments and build connections within diverse populations.
