As Senior Associate, Development Operations Laurel oversaw operations and shaped the outreach strategy and organizational narrative of Upaya. In her time at Upaya, the organization supported 13 early-stage enterprises in India with equity investments and hands-on financial management assistance. These businesses created over 4,000 dignified jobs for the ultra poor and enabled these families to make sustained progress out of extreme poverty as measured by Upaya's robust impact measurement system.
