I assist this training program by contacting law enforcement agencies about upcoming classes in their area, printing course materials, signing in law enforcement officers at the classes, passing out course materials and examples of the sample collection kits, printing certificates, and following up with agencies to ensure that their officers have been trained. • Sent certified letters regarding Senate Bill 2430 to all of the county circuit clerks in Mississippi, and created an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of the return receipts • Print Katie's Law training materials and organize folders for the officers attending each class • Currently training on the Copan CPA200 semi-automated card punch, ThermoFisher 7500 real-time PCR system, Life Technologies 3500 genetic analyzer • Daily tasks consist of documenting all refrigerator, freezer, and oven temperatures; filling bleach bottles with 10% bleach solutions; sterilizing equipment using the autoclave • Answer telephone and email communications • Use the postage meter to calculate and print postage • Assist where necessary Show less
