I've worked with Laura in a couple of ways, firstly when she attend my training Programme (in Corporate Partnerships fundraising) and secondly when she has inspired me (and she's in due course helped me to teach and inspire my audience of fundraisers) by sharing her own successful fundraising strategies and tactics. Across the six months of the Programme Laura was always very committed to the learning process, to trying out new ideas and to helping and sharing with other people on the course. She was very curious and open-minded to ask questions and test new ideas. Given these traits, I don't believe its a coincidence she has become a very effective and innovative fundraiser who is able to solve problems and get results. One particularly successful initiative was the Sponsor the Sparkle campaign at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. Not only was it very successful, she was generous to share the ideas and tactics with my audience on the Fundraising Bright Spots podcast. I've had feedback from several fundraisers who were inspired by Laura's ideas in this episode to implement their version of her approach. If you're looking for a brave, clear-thinking, creative and generous fundraiser, I recommend you talk to Laura.

Laura was my key contact and go-to person at Carat. Having recently started at my company and looking at performance improvements across a range of marketing activities, it was reassuring to have someone as capable as Laura in our agency team. She has great client management skills, was always on top of the details, and able to manage and direct the people in her team in just the right way. She was always looking for additional ways to help drive our business forward outside the obvious routes. And when any issues ever arose, she was quick and adept in finding solutions so them. She helped make the agency a core, trusted partner to our business.
