Doctoral Researcher - Hydrogen Fuel Cells
-
Sep 2014 - Sep 2018
My initial research focused on non platinum catalysts for low temperature hydrogen fuel cells in the Doctoral Training Centre in Fuel Cells and their Fuels during my first few years sponsored by Amalyst Ltd. This was followed by looking at non platinum catalysts as electrolyser catalysts and analysing the use of MEAs at lab scale. Working in the New Technologies Group, developing products across a range of the world's biggest household brands, including Dettol, Air Wick, Vanish, Finish and Durex. I acted in a major role on several projects at once, spanning four of RB’s PowerBrands. These included a number of innovative new Vanish, Finish and Dettol projects which gave me the opportunity to vastly improve and extend my formulating skills.
