Using senses to explore and discover safely! 3-4 years- asking questions and using creative thinking to problem solve/explore ourselves and the world around us. 5-6 years- hypothesizing and testing ideas. Problem solving and answering questions on our own! Music- rhythm, beat, sounds, volume, pace, pitch. Using and making different instruments. Learning songs for seasons and themes. Singing together using actions and dance moves. Library- listening to stories (modeling the correct way to hold, and read a book). Talk about themes using stories. Engage students and motivate them to want to read more. Promote reading using their individual interests and levels. I have created and utilized my own behavior management program in my classroom which the students understand and follow.
