I hired Laura into our team as an internal transfer at Amazon, and very quickly she became a core contributor to our space. Laura is a remarkable UX designer, and her presence was a huge asset to our team. She ramped up very quickly and supported multiple large and complex initiatives, from overseeing creator coaching tools and building mechanisms to allow other teams to contribute to them, to improving user journeys for onboarding and discovery experiences. When we lost some of our research resources due to layoffs, Laura quickly stepped in and became our go-to person for any user research needs, supporting other designers with guidance and comprehensive reports, and showcasing her commitment to the team's success. Laura has a growth mindset that pushes her to be a proactive, action-oriented professional who excels at building trust with her stakeholders. Her positive attitude and ability to uplift the team create a motivating work environment for everyone around her. We will miss her deeply in the creator team and would love to work with her again in the future.

Laura is a thoughtful, thorough user experience designer who takes a truly wholistic approach to solving problems. She enthusiastically tackles every situation and consistently over-delivers. Recently, she voluntarily and proactively conducted an internal design research program to uncover unmet needs of our team; she output her findings in an executive deck to address not just organizational issues that were impacting her directly, but that also sought to systematically solve widespread nuanced problems that her teammates were experiencing. This was all in ADDITION TO her everyday work. Do not hesitate to add Laura to your team. She’ll start adding value on day one.
