      I assisted the delivery of two projects (the world's first 48-hour European BioBlitz and NatureGram Futures2021). The world's first 48-hour European BioBlitz aimed to encourage the public to engage with nature and showcase science in an interesting and entertaining way, through an iNaturalist project and live interviews and quizzes from researchers. NatureGram Futures 2021 aimed to explore Instagram as a means of communicating research (particularly ecology/zoology/environmental research) with an end goal of creating a programme of content for the Futures 2021 project as part of European Researchers Night on 24th & 25th September. I also assisted with data processing for a project called In My Nature and helped run the Communicate conference. For the online Communicate conference, I was responding to e-mails, calls and direct messages to help delegates with any technical issues and keeping social media channels up-to-date with what exciting sessions were happening. My specific role involved creating programming schedules/timetables, writing, generating and scheduling social media posts, liaising with researchers and Instagramers to curate content, sourcing imagery/video content for social media and supporting marketing and activation of partner communications channels.
