I supported the internal and external communications for the National Disease Registration Service. I helped ensure that information resources were available nationally for cancer and rare disease patients to be informed about their data and help facilitate people to access cancer and rare disease data and share insights from data analysis. Summer Internship - Events and Project Manager
-
Jul 2016 - Aug 2016
I organised a local festival including planning events, making a brochure and webpages. I contacted existing volunteers with upcoming opportunities and recruited new volunteers. I was responsible for updating the organisation's website. I planned a new campaign to reduce meet consumption including developing online and hard copy materials. I researched possible connections for the organisation to take forward and developed a volunteer partnership programme with local student charity Cambridge Hub.
