Resident Assistant
-
Aug 2013 - Aug 2016
My tasks are as follow: I am to provide my residents with information given to me by GCU resident directors. I create hall events that provide a welcoming community on my hall and in the dorm. I also am held responsible to follow the dorm and campus rules and I encourage my residents to do the same. If at anytime I come across a resident breaking the rules, it was my duty to remind them of the rules and document the situation at hand appropriately and report it to the resident director above me. If my residents come to me with personal issues I am trained to refer them to appropriate outlets on campus that will help them work through any issue they may have. As a Resident Assistant my presence on the hall is used to create community and encourage a healthy campus lifestyle for the residents that I live with on the hall. Show less
