I perform consulting and research of various kinds, with emphasis on Public Policy Analysis, Assessment and evaluation of different policy processes and government initiatives. I have worked designing and coordinating quantitative and qualitative surveys at the national level (developing tools, designing simple and stratified samples), performing complex analysis of quantitative information and using the results to make policy recommendations. I participated in several research projects of the Center, whose focus was to develop large-scale surveys and evaluating social development programs (most of them were government initiative). These projects were related to the areas of education, social and labor development of Chili, such as CASEN (National Household Survey of Chile), Survey of Tourism Employment, and program evaluation of Textbooks in Public Schools Survey. For two months I worked as an intern in J-PAL, where I supported in different tasks related to the project Preuniversitarios 2010, including literature research and organizing databases. In addition I learned about impact assessments in randomized trials, and worked on the translation of several case studies of J-PAL for the implementation of the website of the organization in Latin America.
