Bio
Jim Fackelman
Laura worked for me at Amity after she graduated from Whitewater. She spent much of her first years getting her hands dirty, learning all of the manufacturing jobs in the plant and earning the respect of all of the factory workers. She supervised each of the manufacturing departments before becoming manager of the entire production operation. She played a valuable role as we transformed the operation from a traditional batch mode process into a true, lean, one piece flow flow operation and slashed lead times from over 30 days to 5 days. Laura is a low profile person who just gets things done. She continues to do the same at the Threshold where I am a board member.
