I have been working as a Teaching Assistant in the Carmel Central School District for 12+ years. The last 4 years I have been in the Math RTI (Response To Intervention) department. I assist with Math instruction for grades K-4th. The teacher and I plan and coordinate lessons for each of our grade levels. I assist in small group instruction for students who are struggling in Math concepts. The small group interaction with my students is the highlight of my day! My goal is have my students leave the classroom with a sense of accomplishment and a smile on their face! Show less
