As the Executive Assistant to the Head of School (HOS) I provide confidential, consistent, andprofessional support to the Head of School, the Board Directors, and Life Members of the Corporation for the institution. Other duties include:- Processing a wide variety of complex documents and materials (e.g. time sheets, work orders, requisitions, travel reimbursements, expense reports for HOS, etc.) for the purpose of disseminating information in compliance with administrative guidelines and/or regulatoryrequirements.- Representing the HOS in his absence for the purpose of addressing matters that require immediate attention.- Researching a variety of topics (e.g. current practices, policies, education codes, board agenda items, parental complaints, legal updates, etc.) for the purpose of providing information and/or recommendations and/or addressing a variety of administrative requirements.- Attending to concerns and / or disputes on behalf of parents with respect and discretion- Promoting a sense of teamwork and positive tone amongst school office staff members at all times.

It provides guidance in establishing and implementing procedures for individual donors, contributing members, corporations, and foundations. In addition, the Office is responsible for integrating the activities of institution-wide volunteer organizations (such as the Parent Teacher Organization) and other groups (National Honor Society) with the mission and priorities of the organization. The Office is committed to offering exceptional fundraising services, knowledge, and counsel to donors, prospective donors, and the leadership of the Institution.
