Laura distinguished herself by taking the lead in designing and creating content of a professional-looking e-commerce SEO-friendly website for the client, My Chiang Mai Boutique lodge (a family-run hotel). The owner Patcha was very impressed and grateful and she ultimately chose to keep the website, visible here : https://mychiangmaiboutique.com/ With this project, Laura proved to be eager for knowledge and have great understanding on how to apply the right digital marketing tools to capture the envisioned target audience. She was not only highly proficient in applying the course material, but she also managed to use her design skills to enhance the brand’s visibility and engagement.

It has been a pleasure working with Laura Popa as the integration manager and concept creator of S.W.A.T Student Association. Laura came onboard from the beginning of S.W.A.T, helping to create the vision, value proposition, image and foundation. She has proven to be a major asset with her research skills and excellent communication and creativity skills. By using our own experiences as well as their input, we aimed to help the Leisure Family become a stronger community that grows and success not only on an academic level but more important on a professional level.As part of the Integration Department, I came up with a dynamic and fun way of helping students within the Leisure & Events Management course to integrate smoothly into a different environment, academic program, and/or different culture. I personally design and coordinated an innovative buddy system that captures the spirit of being a member of the Leisure Family.
