Bio
Amanda J. Riddle
I helped hire Laura in 2004 after our longtime managing editor retired. Although she hadn't worked with teens before, she stepped in immediately to finish editing stories, including the cover story for the next issue. She picked things up quickly and took the lead when we started using social media, helping us increase our fans and learning better ways to interact with them. She is professional, creative, works well in a collaborative environment but is also a self-starter. We were fortunate to have her at L.A. Youth and were sad to see her go.
