I had the privilege of working for Laura during part of her tenure at Peak. I can still remember the detailed 60 minute initial phone call I had with Laura with only straight compliance questions. Then when I was invited in for an in person interview, I recall how detailed her questions were. When she broke down her vision of the HR roadmap for 2020, I knew I needed to find a way to work for her. The amount of energy and detail she poured into our initial interactions; I knew there was so much I could learn from her. As you can imagine that initial roadmap, she shared with me during the interview changed because of the pandemic. But that only led her to create even more of a detailed roadmap that led the company in saving close to 2 million dollars in savings. Watching her strategically work through a pandemic and guide her HR team was like watching a master class. I will be forever grateful to be part of such a heroic effort. Even during stressful times of guiding both our team and the company of 500 employees operating in three different countries during a pandemic she consistently made time for her team. She consistently treated us as individuals even in the most stressful situations. I can think back to our biweekly 1:1 sessions and after I reported in about project progress there was always a discussion of professional development. Even though our paths have changed because of circumstance I feel I will always owe a debt I cannot pay for the amount of experience and knowledge she had shared during our time at Peak. In my career before I came to work for Laura, I had four supervisors, she was by far the best analytical and strategic mind I had the privilege to work for. Even to this day, I still feel I have the comfort of calling her with questions or advisement, and every call is fruitful.

Laura Kaspar epitomizes the word professional! I was lucky enough to work with Laura for 3 years while at Acton Mobile. As the leader of HR Laura worked tirelessly to ensure that EVERY employee was versed in all areas of HR including policies, benefits, payroll, etc. Laura was directly involved and responsible for many changes at Acton that resulted in Acton being a very profitable company in a small amount of time. Not only was Laura running a world class HR department but she also created an intranet based training department ensuring that all Acton employees received training on their positions, company safety, policy changes, etc., Training equals empowered and professional employees and Laura knew this. Laura was also instrumental in shortening the amount of time for contract negotiations. She worked with the legal team to streamline the process taking approvals from days to just hours. Laura's lived by the company motto, "Customers first, Employees always". She worked tirelessly to ensure Acton was a company that was easy to do business with. I would gladly work welcome the opportunity to work with Laura again. I have no doubt that she will be a success at any career path she chooses!!
