I worked with Laura for 3+ years on Silicon Milkroundabout. From the day I first met her, Laura impressed and was a supreme pro. She has an amazing sixth sense for what makes an event both look and feel fantastic. This is backed up by some of the best project management skills I've ever come across to make things happen and run like clockwork. Laura also has an impressive more rounded set of skills. She's passionate about the brand and being purpose driven. Laura also has a very keen eye for detail that comes into its own with budgeting and forecasting. So I would whole heartedly recommend Laura as think she's one of the best in the business.

Laura is an extremely creative, collaborative, dynamic and most importantly organised(!) Events Lead. She's got a wealth of experience in the events space and is full of energy and passion and most importantly is an inspiring leader!

Meet the hottest tech teams looking to hire developers and data scientists in New York. I lead the international expansion into the US and ran a hugely successful first event with 50 companies, 750 attendees, and managed a team of 20. I developed the growth strategy for the business, hustled contacts, managed end-to-end logistics, designed the marketing, comms, and sales strategy, and created the brand and website. A bi-annual tech hiring event, at The Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. We create events and invite super cool companies and talented tech folk to hangout. No pressure, just make connections with like-minded people! I was responsible for the day to day running of the business to growth strategy to designing creative to managing the logistics of the live event, heading up a team of 80+ which saw over 200 companies and 4000 attendees across one weekend. siliconmilkround.com

I managed the event department - scaling the business in both size and profitability. Evolving from working with startups and 100s of people in a pub to partnering with global brands in a 70,000 sq ft venue with 1000s of people.

I turned MM from idea to conception. I was in charge of all aspects of the project including managing construction, ensuring H+S regulations were met, applying for licenses, pitching to and managing stallholders, programming events, and hiring and managing a team of 30 to run the market. A pop up circus experience, sponsored by LondonOlympics which took over the whole of Piccadilly Circus, Regents Street and New Oxford Street. With no public advertising there were 15 stages scattered around Piccadilly with over 100 circus acts performing throughout a day. The audience were invited to roam the streets as if it were a festival. The astounding finale involved Les Studio De Cirque performed an aerialist act which involved dropping 1.5 tons of feathers over the whole of Piccadilly… Show more A pop up circus experience, sponsored by LondonOlympics which took over the whole of Piccadilly Circus, Regents Street and New Oxford Street.
