Bio
Josie Gilday
Laura and I work together at Save the Children International in the Global Medical Team. Laura is an extremely dedicated and motivated person who works tirelessly to ensure the safety of Save the Children International staff across the globe, both for BaU and during the Covid pandemic. She is organised, manages her time well and able to manage and support Staff Health Focal points and Mental Health Champions that span 56 countries at Regional, Country and Field office levels. She is often presenting or available for questions in our All Staff Meetings where she articulate complex concepts providing clear and concise messages. She is able to see what is needed to ensure staff health at all levels whether it is head quarters or in a field program and able to develop the appropriate documents for all levels. She also is always clear who the stakeholders are and collaborates and ensures their buy in when developing policies and procedures. She is also a great team member who offers support to colleagues, has a wonderful optimistic outlook on life and a wicked sense of humour. I would highly recommend her to any employer.

I have worked with Laura while being SCI Regional Staff Health Focal Point during COVID19. Laura was always so committed to delivering all that is needed promptly, never hesitated to provide support. She seeks perfection in what she does, professional, detail-oriented with a high technical background. It was my pleasure working with her. I do recommend her to any employer!
