While some may argue that fragrance isn't very important in the scheme of things, I disagree. It adds a dimension that sight and sound can't capture, whether enhancing the beauty of one's surroundings or warning of danger (or at least of unpleasantness). Fragrance can bring to mind long-forgotten memories, or it can offer a brief moment of escape to a beautiful island paradise. In the fragrance industry, we know full well how fragrance help drive product sales for a variety of products. Many people will see an interesting product but may be drawn in by the beautiful aroma. Some people are drawn to a signature fragrance while others like to sample a variety of fragrances depending on their mood. I have worked hands-on with fragrance for 20 years and have come to love and appreciate fragrances as well as the home fragrance and personal care industries.
