  The Financial Stability Partnership is a grant-funded initiative of the United Way of Chester County. The project brings together cross-sector partners to help lower-income individuals and families achieve financial independence by empowering them with tools and skills necessary to maximize income, build savings and gain assets. As the Mobilizer, I initiate all project activities, facilitate collaborative meetings, report outcomes to funders, write grant applications and oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations

As their Business Administrator, I approved and submitted all invoices, acted as liaison with insurance brokers and vendors, served as a member of the finance committee, maintained and tracked employee attendance and payroll information, and initiated and completed special projects.   The Coad Group is a private, non-profit agency and in 2006, had approximately forty-five employees and an annual operating budget of almost three million dollars. In my role as Executive Director, I supervised our managers (eight people) including hiring, training, coaching, evaluating and disciplining. I provided oversight of the agency’s programs (eight divisions) which involved proposal writing, assuring contract compliance with our various funding sources and program / staff development. In my administrative role, I also represented the agency through regular contact with our funding sources, public speaking engagements throughout Chester County and generation of a variety of reports. I worked with a ten person volunteer board which met on a monthly (or more often) basis. Additionally, I coordinated the bi-annual youth survey process for all twelve school districts in Chester County including acting as the liaison between the school districts, county government, and the survey vendors and assisting school districts with creating and delivering survey results presentations to their school boards and/or community members.
