The Coad Group is a private, non-profit agency and in 2006, had approximately forty-five employees and an annual operating budget of almost three million dollars. In my role as Executive Director, I supervised our managers (eight people) including hiring, training, coaching, evaluating and disciplining. In my administrative role, I also represented the agency through regular contact with our funding sources, public speaking engagements throughout Chester County and generation of a variety of reports. I worked with a ten person volunteer board which met on a monthly (or more often) basis. Additionally, I coordinated the bi-annual youth survey process for all twelve school districts in Chester County including acting as the liaison between the school districts, county government, and the survey vendors and assisting school districts with creating and delivering survey results presentations to their school boards and/or community members.
