The Office of Engagement is responsible for the University's key institutional partners and donors. Although I work across all institutional partnerships, I have particular responsibility for the Indigenous scholarship program. In partnership with corporates, the University has invested $4.18M into Indigenous scholarships since 2012 and has seen a 79% growth in the number of Indigenous student enrollments. The annual Indigenous Gala which I organize with my colleague Sharon Solyma has raised over $2M towards scholarships since its inception. I have also had the privilege of organising cultural immersion trips to the remote Indigenous communities of Lockhart River and the Torres Strait Islands with groups of Principals and corporates.
