Responsible for coordinating a range of activities and sessions for young people across Oxfordshire, who are involved in the Community Link-Up Project, to develop self-confidence and self esteem. Also design, develop, deliver and evaluate a range of youth training to improve life chances. Key in this, I designed the first ILM accredited Level 2 Award in Leadership & Team Skills to be available to under 16's. I'm currently delivering this to young people aged 14-21 from a range of backgrounds. Show less

    • Senior Training Consultant
      • Sep 2012 - Nov 2013

During my time with Insight Management Solutions I’ve been involved in a range of projects; I’ve taken a lead role in developing and delivering a new Front Line Leaders training programme for the National Skills Academy for Social Care (NSA). I provide tutor support and guidance for all of the programmes in which I'm involved. I’ve also been involved in the development and delivery of the NSA’s Graduate Scheme, which takes learners from a wide variety of degree backgrounds and provides both social care training and management training, alongside a year-long placement, to enable them to become middle managers in the Social Care sector. The demographic of this programme is young people in their early to mid 20s, and I've been key in adapting our delivery style to better suit their learning needs. I’ve played an advisory and delivery role in the development of other social care courses Insight has delivered and have championed improvements to the accessibility of our courses. I’ve been developing the company website in partnership with the website developer, and have integrated social media including a blog. Lastly, I’ve created a range of products (eg: workbooks and information packs) and have redesigned other existing materials. Show less
