  As a Junior designer for Pineapple kids and womenswear active/dancewear my role was vast- covering not only clothing design but experience in print, graphics and photography.-Creating ranges for own brand as well as for wholesale companies including: TKMaxx, Debenhams, NEXT and Miss Selfridge -Lead fit sessions making sure samples match the desired outcome-Created detailed garment specs and liaison with factories and suppliers directly -Created prints for garments, particularly text and animal print-Designed not only clothing but also accessories including bags and backpacks -Have developed a vast understanding of activewear and the fit needed -Frequently designed the graphics for the Pineapple website, social media platforms and newsletters-Styled outfits for Pineapple e-commerce outlets and social media -Photographed, edited and created regular social media content including flatlays and graphics

  I worked for a year within the Arcadia brand Miss Selfridge, this was a placement year within my university course. During my time at the company I learnt an abundance of skills and was given the opportunity to design for the brand, particularly within the jersey and accessories departments.I was also given the responsibility of managing all work experience students that came to the company for short periods, demonstrating my leadership skills. The role overall has strengthened my team role skills and ability to manage tasks as the only design assistant for the brand.
