  ThinkPlace US is the Human Centered Design (HCD) partner of the Breakthrough ACTION Program: a global social and behavior change (SBC) project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) that is designed to increase the practice of priority health behaviors and enable social norms, including gender norms, for improved health and development outcomes, with an emphasis on family planning / reproductive health; HIV; maternal, newborn, and child health; and malaria. As designers, we contribute to diagnose, reframe, prototype, test and implement scalable behavioral interventions with local users and partners, to improve the effectiveness of health programs and services across developing countries in Africa, Central and South America.
