I act as Lead Receptionist for a team of 2 taking on responsibility of implementing new procedures and streamlining current ones. Responsibilities vary from day to day consisting of; general adhoc, room/catering requests, meeting set up, greeting clients, stock replenishing, phones, cost saving projects, etc. I have been given the opportunity to assist on other projects & areas of the business including some events & initiatives. While studying Interior Architecture, I have been fortunate enough to be a part of a number of facilities projects for commercial fit outs for TechnologyOne. I was hired as a Corporate Receptionist right before the lockdown started so once the offices were no longer doing in person meetings I was moved to a different role. In this role I assisted with general mail processing as well as confidential data entry and redaction for client meetings and advice. QInvest had every intention to keep me on but this was not approved as the work load had lightened because of COVID and have since been absorbed back into QSuper.
