➤ Developed policy and procedure manuals for Siemens Somatom Force CT scanner, the GE 16/64 Slice CT Scanner, and for GE Biopsies & Drainages, playing an instrumental role in the Department achieving ACR CT Accreditation. ➤ Expertly performed all areas of CT Scanning, including Angiography, Trauma CT, CCTA, CT Biopsies/Drainages for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by Radiologists. ➤ Worked independently on the weekends, covering all functions within the CT Department, using various systems including PACS, and RIS Clinical ordering pathway, as well as performed monthly QA on all CT Scanners. ➤ Efficiently started intravenous access on patients and safely administered both oral and IV contrast, to allow for the enhancement of anatomical structures, while practicing sterile technique to prevent cross-contamination. ➤ Prepared and positioned patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately, working within the accepted scope of practice and applicable State/Federal regulations including JCAHO requirements. ➤ Competently used GE 750 HD 64 Slice Scanner, Dual Energy Source, GE Lightspeed CT 16XTra.
