Responsibilities include matching individual needs/supports with abilities and strengths of families in the community. Create and implement annual trainings, facilitate licensing of family homes to include recruitment, homestudy, conducting background checks, and site inspections. Ensure all day to day activities and documentation reflect and follow DPW 6500 regulations for family living. Manage and supervise staff of 5 Lifesharing Specialists who maintain caseloads and ensure a fluid and continuous service to individuals we serve. Responsible for day to day operations, managing and securing substitute care, emergency, and planned placements for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Work closely with county supports coordinators, day program and work services to maintain a well rounded complete service line.
