    • Collective and Intergenerational Trauma Therapist, Facilitator, Trainer and Researcher
      • Jan 2013 - Present

In what turned out to be a pioneering move, I started offering online therapy since 2013. I bring a warm and caring presence that enables people to discover and heal from wounds that they did not even know they had, but which are creating symptoms in their lives, relationships and communities. Drawing on my own healing journey, ample academic and research experience, the collective intelligence of my communities of practice, and the teachings of the people I have trained with, particularly Thomas Hübl, I walk alongside people to discover the Light within the darkness they face. It is my honor and joy to offer my presence, care and support to those who are willing to engage in creating a new relational world, that can allow our joint creativity and beauty to emerge for a new and better future for humanity. I provided therapeutic and counseling services for individual, couples and groups, ran and co-facilitated Anger Management Groups for men and founded and ran the Healing Anger Groups for women. I also offered Professional Training Workshops, and edited and then co-wrote the "Lose Your Temper" handbook for Anger Management offered by the company at the time. I also provided support to the company's leadership for the expansion of the company, which had been working for over a decade with only 2 therapists and one group for men in one location, and by the time I left it had grown to 5 therapists and offered 2 groups for men and one for women in 3 different locations. Supported the research project "Cross-cultural larrikins in a Neo-liberal world: ideology and myth in postmodern Australia, Mexico and Brazil", funded by the Australian Research Council and led by Prof. Bob Hodge (the book "Chaos Theory and the Larrikin Principle : Working with Organisations in a Neo-liberal World" was published as a result of the project. (http://researchdirect.westernsydney.edu.au/islandora/object/uws:11682) ). My duties included recruiting and interviewing informants, transcribing the interviews and coding them. I helped establish pertinent analytical categories for the coding process, as well as maintain records and files for the project, keeping agendas and minutes of meetings. I also acted as project manager, looked after the project’s finances for a time, supervised the construction of the project’s webpage, and coordinated researchers’ tasks between meetings. Show less
