  Along with my Beautiful Mind team, I organised science events for the Pint of Science festival, with the aim to bridge the gap between research and the general public. I developed the topics for the different evenings, contacted speakers and organised activities.   Studiekring Vrij Onderzoek propagates and deepens the understanding of the basic principle of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel - Free Inquiry. As the president, I coordinated the organisation of weekly events (e.g. debate on artificial intelligence, panel discussion on "paradox of tolerance") and gave direction to a team of 15 students. I was in direct contact with the rector and university board and was regularly invited as a speaker at academic events.
