I worked with Laura in Gold&Green’s Design & Marketing team. Laura is a treat to work with, she is a great and reliable teamplayer who creates a positive atmosphere of trust within her team members. She is very prompt and works well under pressure and in tight schedules without loosing her positive mindset. She is fluent in all social media channels and a very eager and fast learner in everything she does. Laura excells in organizing and coordinating events as well as photoshoots and has an excellent eye for foodstyling. I can truly recommend Laura as a valuable marketing asset and team player.

I managed Laura Antola directly in the Gold&Green Foods' marketing team. Laura was the Marketing Coordinator and a valuable member of the team working to increase the brand awareness. She has a proven record of successful customer feedback communication and coordination of projects from start to finish in a tight schedule. Laura can easily apprehend the big picture and she takes care of all the details to achieve the goals. She's not afraid of challenges and unknown topics, instead she does her research and takes care of them responsibly and independently. Laura holds marketing and business goals at the center of marketing execution and she is fluent in multiple media channels. With a strong storytelling and visual ability, she's able to make complex analytical concepts accessible, visual and engaging. Her collaborative and energetic attitude and ability to inspire a culture of possibility is truly missed at Gold&Green Foods. She's an enthusiastic team player full of ideas and passion for user-centric design and has a goal oriented working style. Her strong interpersonal skills, whether she’s collaborating on projects or resolving conflicts are amazing. She can effectively interact across different teams and functions escpecially in marketing. I can highly recommend Laura, especially when you are looking for an entrepreneurial spirit and a person who has the ability to work well in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Gold&Green Foods is a Finnish food-tech startup founded in 2015 to create innovative, ecological and healthy plant-based products from Nordic oats and legumes with a completely unique production process. Joining the growth story of Gold&Green Foods among the first employees in the founding stage provided me with a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in various areas of business and take on wide responsibilities. My journey with the company spanned its entire lifecycle, from its early stages to rapid growth and scaling, including participation in pilot-scale production, conducting customer and market research projects, organizing various events (both domestic and international, such as Flow Festival 16-18 in Helsinki, SXSW18 in Texas, SIAL18 in Paris, New Food Conference 2019 and Grüne Woche 2020 in Berlin), building the company's social media presence, producing a cookbook (concept, recipes, food & set styling): Nyhtökaura® - Vegepäivän reseptikirja / Pulled Oats® - Veggie day cookbook (Siltala, 2016, 2018, 2021), and creating a guidebook for parents of young children and teenagers about adopting vegetarian food in their everyday life, as it is a topic that raises questions in many families (2020). As Gold&Green Foods expanded and explored new markets, I transitioned into a central marketing role, collaborating closely with local marketing and sales teams. Show less

Antica Casa Vinicola Scarpa is a Piedmont based historical winery that produces high quality wines of autochthonous grape varieties. As a food scientist and economist, this experience gave me a unique opportunity to explore the world of wine-making, a whole new industry for me, and explore business opportunities within it. I conducted a feasibility study to evaluate new business opportunities in response to current market trends towards healthier choices in wine, specifically seeking lower alcohol content wines. However, climate change leads wine production in the opposite direction as hotter summers increase the sugar content and thus higher alcohol by volume in wines. Show less
