Amazingly creative and dedicated are the words that come to mind when I think about Laura. I had the pleasure of working with Laura while we both spend time at Huntington National Bank supporting the Call Center department. During that time, we worked on several projects together to help create a better candidate experience through different communication process enhancements. We also had the opportunity to help increase the moral of the call center by helping out with different focus groups. Throughout our interactions, I was always impressed by Laura’s commanding presence and ability to captivate those with her brilliant ideas. No matter how many vast ideas were shared or how off track some conversations became, Laura was always able to keep the group focused and leaving with a sense of accomplishment. As a team member or a leader, Laura earns my highest recommendation.

Netech was acquired by Presidio as of February 1, 2016. • Talent Acquisition Coordinator
      • Feb 2014 - Jan 2016

At Netech, I was responsible for providing support to the talent acquisition process through pre- and post-hire activities. On a daily basis, I facilitated a variety of logistical and recruitment activities to streamline the hiring process and onboard new hires in a timely and efficient manner. Aside from my daily coordination tasks, I was responsible for screening and sourcing corporate and associate-level positions. I conducted full-cycle recruiting from application submission to on-boarding, all while providing an excellent candidate experience. For 2015, I brought on over 20 new hires and saved the company over $75K in recruiting fees. In addition to screening applications and sourcing potential candidates, I laser-focused on continuously improving our company branding. For example, by endorsing employee involvement with Glassdoor, Netech's page views and reviews significantly increased by over 450%, resulting in "Open Company" status.Lastly, I was assigned as the system administrator for was a new cloud-based applicant tracking system (Cornerstone OnDemand). During this process, I was solely responsible for setting up all system configurations and designs, including an enhanced career page that offered new features (i.e. "Meet the Hiring Team," applying with LinkedIn, and external referral submissions). This opportunity allowed me to obtain a deeper understanding of the inner workings of an ATS program, collaborate with other CSOD user groups, and submit my own suggestions for potential future updates. • Contract Coordinator

After nearly 7 years in the banking industry, I was ready for a new challenge. In this role, I was brought on to assist in rebuilding a team that was acquired under new management. The main tasks of the role involved ordering Cisco Smartnet for customer orders using various web-based tools (CSCC, CCW, etc.). This process included: monitoring Cisco shipments, building quotes, creating and amending purchase orders and sales orders in the accounting system (Virtual Account Mate), maintaining contract reports, and conducting a weekly import into the main database system (ConnectWise). I assisted in the implementation of multiple checkpoints and automation which helped increase the accuracy and efficiency for all orders. With the team starting from scratch, I created brand new training materials and procedural guidelines, assisted with interviews, as well as onboard and train 4 new hires. I worked closely with Solution Specialists, Engineers, Sales Representatives, and customers to help effectively manage inquiries/issues. Show less

My main focus in this role was to act as daily support for both Michigan and Ohio Phone Bank’s executive leadership team, Manager Leadership Team, Sales & Service Managers, Business Analysts, Workforce Management, Training Specialist, and hundreds of customer service representatives. I was, also, the point of contact for building management, including security, facilities, contractors, & technical support. From a reporting aspect, I created and maintained multiple business reports, scorecards, Quarterly Business Reviews, budgets for the Phone Bank with great accuracy. With the increased demand for staffing, I became heavily involved with the hiring process. I forecasted and scheduled interviews with our third-party recruiter, facilitated advertised Job Fairs, and acted as a daily focal point of communication. Focusing on increasing our retention, I researched attrition trends, reviewed resumes of our top performers, and updated both HR and Manager Interview Guides to improve candidate evaluations.Other projects that I was able to head start included: creating and operating a global recognition program for both sites, facilitated all shift bids for bankers, and other contests, pilots, and bank-wide events. This role really expanded my professional core values by working with diverse groups, emphasizing the importance of strong communication, inclusion, and teamwork. A few main items we assisted customers with include: direct deposits, auto-pays, account setup, online banking setup, and other educational pieces that would benefit the customer’s banking experience. My success in this role was due to my efficient multitasking skills and organization.
