Business Design Manager / Business Analyst – Home Office Detention and Escorting Services (DES) Laura initially joined DES as a Business Analyst to provide expertise in requirements management for the re-procurement of escorting services. Subsequent assignments include identifying business process improvements in detention and escorting and aligning Immigration Enforcement’s IT system, the Returns and Movement Planner (RMP) with immigration technology standards. In her role as Business Design Manager for the replacement Heathrow Immigration Removal Centre (IRC), Laura works closely with consulting teams, suppliers and other departments including the MoJ and NHS to ensure the future design of the replacement IRC meets the needs of detainees, staff and the Home Office both from a strategic and operational perspective. Home Office Scrum Master – Reducing time to draft asylum decision letters while improving consistency and quality Laura worked in an agile team with consultants, clients and suppliers bringing hands on experience in several areas including business analysis, solution architecture and testing.
