My position in this field of work came with many titles. Within the account that I was on I was part of a unique team where we were known as the IST, ORC, ESPF, and IHD team. I handled calls for our clients that had questions or concerns on technical issues, product information, vendor complaints and concerns and so much more. I get information to different regions, business offices, and restaurants via fax, email, and even over the phone. There is a lot that is done in this area of my job. I did on and off general labor jobs for this particular hiring agency. I have did remodeling for walmarts around my area and also participated in doing a little labor work in a warehouse marking and bagging Cat. parts. It is a great experience to see what other general labor jobs are out there in the world. This was more of a second job for me but I look at it as getting experience. I only did temp. jobs with this company but it was more of a fun experience than just a job to me. I always kept my primary job with HGS during the time I have worked with Manpower. Show less

McDonalds was my first and loved job. I worked from crew on up to management before leaving for the corporate business part of McDonalds. I held a variety of duties that was called for depending on each ranking position I had. As crew I did the hard hands on work. I was doing lobby duty, attending customers and being sure to use the golden rule at all times. A customer may be there for just a short while but the experience that they have and attitude, dedication, and energy they see and get from the workers is what will keep them coming back(along with great quality food of course). I later became a crew trainer and had to do less of the hard work but still had to train fellow employees and give them the ensight of such a great company. McDonalds use to be a "flip a burger" job and nothing more to me then to socialize with high school buddies. When you actually exprience working with such a great company you see that there is so much more to this line of business and it was my pleasure showing individuals that part of it. I then was asked by the Owner herself, to become a part of her Management team. Being a leader was more than bossing someone around but it was about doing your best so that you can be that role model and helping hand for those around you. Granted as a manager I wasn't required to do as much of the hands on work but to instruct and coach my fellow crew. That didn't mean I didn't get in there and get hands on from time to time. It is good for the crew to know that their boss has their back no matter what. Show less
