▪ Coordination of ICLEI Europe's portfolio on climate change adaptation, urban resilience and disaster risk reduction;▪ Development, coordination and implementation of applied research projects, e.g. Smart Mature Resilience (development of resilience management guidelines, development and implementation of resilience strategies, standardization work on resilient city planning and indicators), PLACARD (integrating climate adaptation and disaster risk reduction), ARCH (building resilience of cultural heritage), RESIN (climate impacts on critical infrastructure), proGIreg (green infrastructure for post-industrial urban regeneration) and more▪ Implementation of service contracts for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (key expert for Green City Action Plan for the city of Iasi, Romania) and the German Ministry for Environment (Klimaresilienz in Europa service contract) ▪ Coordination and facilitation of workshops, conferences, webinars and public events.▪ Production of periodic reports for funding bodies; grant applications; policy briefs and guidance documents aimed at local government leaders and practitioners.▪ Organisation and programme development of the annual European Urban Resilience Forum (former Open European Day) – since 2016 / www.urbanresilienceforum.eu▪ Design of capacity building workshops and guidance materials on urban resilience for European cities on behalf of 100 Resilient Cities, pioneered by the Rockefeller Foundation.▪ Winner of DIN Innovators Award 2019 and, with EU R&I project Smart Mature, Resilience of CEN Innovation Award 2019 - Chair for the development of CWA 17300 City Resilience Development: Operational Guidance - https://www.cen.eu/news/brief-news/Pages/NEWS-2018-039.aspx▪ Member of UNDRR's Regional Coordination Committee for 'Making Cities Resilient 2030' initiative.▪ Co-leading the EU Policy Support Facility for Adaptation under the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy
